Project History:

 

 City of Madison issued an RFP

 in May 2011 for several vacant

 blocks of East Washington Avenue in

 Madison.

 

Bark Design and Gebhardt Development were selected in June 2011 based on strength of design, program, and schedule to negotiate purchase of land banked properties and continue development of project.

 

Project has received unanimous neighborhood approval and also received unanimous approvals from the City of Madison's Urban Design Commission, Plan Commission, and City Council in May of 2012.

 

Construction began in June 2012 with a completion date of July 2013.
